need to know cheaper areas of Brighton to find accommodation

Hi All, I'll be passing through Brighton this coming July, and need to find some simple cheap accommodation from the 9th to the 31st July, have been away from the UK for the last 14 years,so I'm out of touch with prices and where to stay, any help would be appreciated
