Hi all quick post about a meet up and net group im wanting to start that will have regular meet ups once we have enough members ect...

its Brighton based and i hope will also have net based feed back from people all over the world and stuff if it kicks off... anyone is welcome to join, as long as anyone wishing to meet in the group is able to come to Brighton.

there is a Facebook group which ill be using to organize things and allow people to network there ideas and exchange there knowledge...

Hi all, this is a group is a local discussion group for people that have ideas that they would like collaborate with others, or learn new things and in general talk about techy stuff with people and have a good time...

when we have enough members living in or around the Brighton area we will arrange regular meets in the park or if its raining then somewhere roofed...

however just because this is a Brighton group doesn't mean we will be excluding international/national members from participating in intellectual tech debate with the rest of us! oh noo!! feel free to post and comment your ideas on this page and just contribute how you feel is best within these pages...

one day soon id also like to move forward plans on making our ideas a reality... discussion on how we do this is open to suggestion!


the general subjects we are open to talk about are;

all known sciences¬
|>physics (philosophy will also play a part here)

|>Biology
|>cant be bothered to list them all atm but you get the idea

Engineering¬
|>electrical/electronic & signal analysis (waveforms ect)
|>applied mathematics within the realm of engineering
|>mechanical/manufacture
|>design (CAD and non-CAD (good old fashioned hand drawn))
|>Civil and architectural

Mathematics (speaks for itself)

The arts (within a technical context...)¬
|>Music
|>Visual arts and design
|>production of multimedia and communications

Computing¬
|>hardware, OC and design
|>Software & programing

and lastly anything else thats techy that you can think of....

Don't be intimidated by that large list if you don't know what that all means, its ok, maybe this is your chance if your interested in one thing or another to learn new things!!!

REMEMBER YOU DON'T NEED A DEGREE OR ANY BACKGROUND KNOWLEDGE TO JOIN THE GROUP< just enthusiasm and a thrust to learn or share ideas!!!

Oh and one last thing for the trolls of this world... please leave all egos at the door, we don't need them here, this is meant to be a relaxed friendly environment to talk to others about ideas and not to shout out about or make others feel belittled...
