Photography Exhibition: Domestication (brighton Photo Fringe) - Monday 6th October 2008
The work 'Domestication' deals with the day-to-day script of the artist's home life, fraught with stress and responsibilities but captured in simplistic images of beauty and calmness. Titles, subject matter and colour are stripped down to the bare minimum . These are images that the artist sees every day, which, over time, she begins to visually explore, playing with compositional arrangements of these banal domestic objects. There are no distracting elements, complicated statements or erratic movements. Times: Friday: 16.00-18.00; Sat-Sun: 12.00-18.00.
