No Hype Records Showcase Gigs

Hi there!
Just to let everyone know that every 2nd friday of the month at the Hobgoblin, London road there is going to be a No Hype showcase gig! We had one last month, and the management liked it so much they made it a regular once monthly thing! This time round (on the 11th June) its going to be GrooveMonsteR (a hard rocking local band, on from 1015pm till 11pm) supported by NaMaSTe (another hard rocking band from Croydon, on from 920pm till 1010pm). Before they go on (from about 7pm)and after they've been on (till about 1am) DJ Monkeymind will be playing a mixed bag of cool tunes and some of the No Hype back catalogue for your musical delectation!
GrooveMonsteR's music is inspired by clutch, kyuss and has a spinal tap humourous edge to it, and Namaste are influenced by such artists as muse and rage against the machine. Both bands are excellent and it should be a good night's entertainment! And LOUD!! I would like to take this opportunity to say that No Hype offers cheap recording (but not lo-spec!) at its studio in Brighton and is on the lookout for bands to distribute! (gigs waiting!)
