A Prison Diary and Charlie's Angel
Published 9th Apr 2003 by James Brooks
LRAPA Productions is proud to announce its forthcoming presentation of two exciting plays in May for the Brighton Fringe Festival.
1, 2 & 3 May 2003
The Marlborough Theatre, Princes Street, Brighton
7.30pm
A Prison Diary, a theatrical dramatisation of Jeffrey Archer?s book, adapted for stage by Mike Darnell, is an intriguing insight into the experiences of Lord Archer at the start of his prison sentence and his observations and thoughts of prison life and prison reform. This is quite literally a World Exclusive independent production by kind permission of Jeffrey Archer himself ? royalty free! Mike Darnell gives a powerful performance.
Charlie?s Angels by Jonathan Rice is a thought-provoking tale of twin brothers with conflicting lifestyles who share a tragic journey, beautifully woven by Jamie Warren who portrays the differences and similarities between the brothers.
Both plays are very different but nevertheless captivating and will leave the audience to make up their own minds on the issues raised.
Tickets: ?9/7.50 available from The Fringe, Kensington Gardens, Brighton, or alternatively by calling 07950 039660. Email booking requests to james@realbrighton.com. This production is part of the Brighton Fringe Festival. Proceeds of sale of programmes will be donated to Nacro and The Sussex Beacon.
