Above Audio Wins National Award For Best Late Night Bar

Brighton?s Above Audio wins hugely coveted accolade of ?Best Late Night Bar? at the annual national Theme Bar and Restaurant Awards.

Over the last year Brightonians and their friends have recognised Above Audio?s unique qualities which set it apart from the competition ? now the rest of the country has noticed as well!

Oliver Hyde (General Manager) said how:
?We?re obviously thrilled to get the recognition that we know Above Audio deserves. This is a perfect 1st birthday present and we hope it?ll be the 1st of many! We?ve worked very hard to create the unique and exciting venues that are Above Audio and Audio ? it?s always great to finally reap the rewards! Cheers to us!?

The Theme Bar and Restaurant awards recognise innovation and excellence in a selection of categories within bar, restaurant and design industries. Since its inception Audio and Above Audio have been all about setting new trends and creating new benchmarks in the ever-changing Brighton entertainment scene.

The glittering award ceremony took place at the magical Room by The River on the Southbank and attracted a huge crowd of industry movers and shakers who came to assess the talent, check out their current and future competition and join in the party.

Above Audio won the regional heat back in October 2004 as well as their bartender Joe Wood who won the regional title of ?Best Bartender?. From this they were entered into the national finals.

Other Brighton prizewinners included Koba ? Best Drinks Offering, The Real Eating Company ? Best Caf? and Joe Woods ? Best Bartender.
