After Hours At The Funky Buddha Lounge

After Hours At The Funky Buddha Lounge
Published 22nd Nov 2005 by Obviously Media

Brighton and Hove Council granted a handful of true 24 hr licences to traders at the recent licensing reform hearings. 6 of those places were C-Side Venues, The Funky Buddha was one of the 6.

Friday and Saturday nights the Buddha will host selective special ?after hours? events every week.

These parties, starting at 3am, are promoted by a selection of the Buddha?s favourite talent, a return for some old faces and a few new beginnings.

2nd and 4th Fridays. ?3am nocturnal?
Cutting Edge Up Front Acid House Music By Experts Steve Mac and Ash Huntington,
looking to keep their party faithful up till dawn, with the odd special guest when
Steve calls in old favours! Expect to hear big names like Yousef, Paul Woolford and

3rd Saturday of the month is ?Bright?n early?.
Yianni and Russell are notorious after party organisers and take their art

glam and sexy crowd follow them wherever they go.

Starting 26th Nov all other Saturdays are ?La Ma?ana? After 10 years rocking The
Zap club every Saturday we asked Mike gorgeous, Alex T and very special guests to give the Buddha that ?3 am in the Zap back arch? feeling. Enough said.
