Asthma Uk's Beach To Beach Cycle Challenge - That's How We Roll!

What
A challenging two day cycle ride along the picturesque south coast of England from Bournemouth to Brighton. The event will have a 1950s seaside theme and cyclists will be encouraged to take part in fancy dress - prizes will be awarded for the best costumes!

When
Saturday 8 - Sunday 9 May 2010, corresponding with Asthma UK's fundraising week which runs from 1-9 May 2010.

The Route
The route covers approx 100 miles and has been specially designed to incorporate the best that the south coast has to offer. Cyclists will start in the seaside town of Bournemouth on Saturday morning before travelling into the heart of the New Forest. Next the route heads towards the beautiful South Downs before arriving at West Wittering for the end of the first leg. Day two will see cyclists head out along the coastal tracks of Worthing, Shoreham and Hove before arriving in buzzing Brighton for the finish line celebrations.

Cyclists can sign up by visiting asthma.org.uk or calling the Events Team on 0800 121 62 55. The registration fee is £49 which includes overnight camping accommodation in West Wittering. Minimum sponsorship is £250.

In addition all participants will receive:
* an exclusive Asthma UK T-shirt
* a fundraising pack to help give you ideas on how to have fun with your fundraising
* regular team newsletters
* training tips and fitness advice
* round the clock support from the Events Team
* post event reception where you can celebrate your achievements with friends, family and refreshments
* on the ride participants will have clear route signage, full mechanical support as well as regular refuelling stations.
