Blackbud @ The Oceanrooms

Blackbud @ The Oceanrooms
Published 4th Jan 2006 by Dan Parsons

Marowak Records are pleased to announce that Blackbud are playing at the Ocean Rooms on Sunday 22nd Jan @ 7.30.

The Times has tipped Blackbud as one of 2 bands for success in 2006 :-)

'Worth Screaming for in 2006' .......As Thom Yorke and chums ready themselves for the release of their seventh studio album, their influence is still clearly audible in early material by two of the most promising bands of 2006.

Throw a locomotive Led Zep groove and a little Jeff Buckley semi falsetto into the brew and its hard not to see how the Wiltshire 3 piece Blackbud wont gobble up new converts, Pacman style over the next 12 months.

The bands last EP was played by Zane Lowe, Jo Whiley and Mark Radcliffe.

They will be supported by local epic indie rockers SuperEgo.

Advance tickets available from Rounder 01273.325440 and www.ticketweb.co.uk
