Blah Blah Blah Halloween Party at Audio
Published 10th Oct 2008 by Kristian Bannister
Blah Blah Blah present a goulish line-up of some of the biggest names in dance music for a freaky night of electro at Audio on 31st October. A firm favourite in the dance scene for years, Rex the Dog has made quite a return this year releasing his much anticipated debut album "The Rex the Dog Show".
Rex the Dog will be showcasing a stunning mix of electro, breaks and techno in his highly acclaimed live show. Expect a mind-blowing mix of Rex's own tracks and remixes set against his trademark live visuals. Not only is this Rex's first appearance in Brighton for years but it is also the UK's official album release party so there will be plenty of Rex The Dog goodies to be given out!
PHONES
Phones aka Paul Epworth is one of the most influential producers of the last decade. He's the manned desk of seminal albums such as Bloc Party - Silent Alarm, The Rapture - Pieces of the People We Love, Maxïmo Park - A Certain Trigger and The Rakes - Capture/Release.This year he has produced the new Bloc Party and Friendly Fires album. He also produces incredible electro under the alias Phones. His massive remix CV includes acts such as U2, Interpol, Muse Bloc Party, The Futureheads, Death From Above 1979 and The Black Ghosts so name but a few. He's also released tracks of the ultra cool French label, Kitsune. Don't miss a rare chance to see him behind the decks.
Audio will be completely transformed into a spooky castle full of ghosts and ghouls for the night. We are going all out to make this an unforgettable night. Freaky gear is fully encouraged, it's Halloween afterall! There will be a treat available on entry for those who arrive in costume.
