Brighton Band Shiseido Red Support Texas Up At The Castle

Brighton Band Shiseido Red Support Texas Up At The Castle
Published 21st Aug 2006 by Paul And Hoff

SHSEIDO RED - Brighton, 2-piece acoustic band, recent winners of ?Rox Music ?TEXAS? Challenge? are very much looking forward to supporting ?TEXAS? at Arundel Castle, to a sell out crowd of over 4,500 on the 27th August.

Currently unsigned, the brothers Paul and Hoff were among the six finalists selected from around 30 bands entered, to compete for the chance to support 'TEXAS' at the Arundel Castle on the 27th August. The finals took place at The Windmill Theatre on Sunday 13th August. Shiseido Red were the only acoustic duo amonst 5 full bands, despite this their performance impressed the team of 9 judges so much they were pronounced the winners at the end of the exciting competition, and then had to go back on to perform another song. (Paul said he knows how it must feel when they have to do that on Stars in Their Eyes now!!!)

Since winning, their Myspace site hits and track plays are increasing daily and life has been a round of interviews and photo shoots for the guys who are really looking forward to suppporting Texas up at The Castle on the 27th and hoping this is the break they need to lead them onwards and upwards.

The Texas gig is now sold out but you can catch them next at The Cella, Sanctuary Cafe, HOVE, where they will be headlining on the 31st August.
