Are you lonesome tonight? If the answer is 'yes', get down to the Brighton Banter Charity Speed Dating Nights at The Mad Hatter (on Western Road). If banter isn't normally your forte, fear not as the cafe has a drinks license, which usually helps with these things.

The events will be raising funds and awareness for MENCAP, who support people with a learning disability and their families and carers. The events are also jolly good fun; for proof, check out the website with details of previous evenings.


You will have the opportunity to spend 3-4 minutes with 15+ hopefuls of the opposite sex from 7.30pm. There are two different dates for different age groups - Wed 19th October (32-42yrs) and Thurs 27th October (25-35yrs). Book on-line or call on 07795 998955.

Tickets are limited and must be booked in advance so book early for your place! They cost ?15 each with 100% of profits going to MENCAP. If you think about it, ?15 ain't that much when you stand the chance to meet mr or mrs right!
