The Brighton Samba Encounter, returns to the Brighton Festival, 23rd-26th May 2003 courtesy of Carnival Collective. The Encounter ran for the first time last year, bringing the streets and stages of Brighton alive for the ultimate weekend of the Festival. With nearly 300 samba musicians from around the UK and abroad hitting the town it was a truly memorable event.

Building on last year?s success Carnival Collective will once again span the Brighton Festival?s climactic weekend. This year there will be even more opportunities for residents and festival visitors to experience the carnival arts at first hand...
