Brightons First Ever Disco Day-club For Parents And Children
By Helen Reynolds 14th Aug 2008
A Place For Parents Who Love To Dance With Their Children. The dance phenomenon that has been taking parents and children around the world by storm makes its debut in Brighton’s vibrant beach front venue, ‘The Honey Club’ Happening the 1st Saturday of every month starting the 6th of September 08.
Brighton’s first ever Disco Baby is based on the American ‘Baby Loves Disco’, which has already been transforming the hippest night clubs into child proof discos as toddlers, pre-schoolers and parents look for a break from the traditional activities.
Disco Baby is an afternoon party (Noon ‘till 3pm) where you can expect to see live DJ’S spinning crowd pleasing music ranging from funk to rock and roll and Disco to Motown soul. You can also enjoy light shows, a chill out room, snacks, and even grab a drink at the separate grown-up’s bar!
The idea was inspired by active parents who still want to hit the dance-floor whilst exploring and sharing music with their kids’. Disco Baby Host, Helen Reynolds says: ‘This is a chance for parents to get out of the house and do something different. It’s a fact that music and dance will teach children a sense of rhythm, helping with self confidence whilst being fantastic exercise in a fun way’.
