Camilo Franco Returns To Hat Club
By Nicola Freitas 20th Nov 2008
After smashing Digital in Brighton back in September, the UK’s most stylist and on-point brand Hat-Club is back at the sea front venue on 29th November for another night of hats and house beats.
Having recently smashed its fourth birthday party at Pacha, London, Hat-Club’s glittering reputation continues to rise among its loyal fans in Brighton, and for this event it brings back a rare treat to the coast after a two year hiatus…
Yes, Hat-Club has enlisted the skills of one time resident and true Hispanic hunk, Camilo Franco. Known for his Pacha Valencia and Space Ibiza residencies, and the backing of Subliminal’s Erick Morillo, Camilo is thrilled to be back and is ready to unleash his booty shaking, hands up style of house.
Supporting his talents is resident James Fitch of duo Prok & Fitch, and a Brighton local so he knows a few secrets on how best to rock this crowd. The same can be said for Vince Frimpong, who’ve been with Hat-Club since the off, and dedicatedly follows the night wherever it goes.
In the Digital arch we have Yusuf Sebaiti who will be showcasing M-Audio’s Torq performance system where he’ll be heading into the future, digitally mixing all night long.
Those who have been before know that the hats create mystery, fun, sexiness, identity and a sense of unity between clubbers. It’s also the no-nonsense music policy of filthy house that pull these clubbers together.
But there are two rules that you must obey: number one - don’t talk about Hat-Club: and number two - don’t forget your hat! You’ll feel a numpty without one!
Don’t talk about Hat-Club! Ssshhh…
