Christmas by the Sea at Hilton Brighton Metropole

Hilton Brighton Metropole offers something for everyone this Christmas

Hilton Brighton Metropole is offering a whole host of packages to make Christmas 2011 one to remember. Situated on one of Britain’s best-loved seafronts, the Brighton Metropole is the perfect place to warm up with a festive feast from Jazz Brunches to Christmas Lunches.

Whether it’s festive frolics the whole family can enjoy or a cosy couple’s Christmas, visitors to this seaside city will have no trouble getting into the spirit of things with an array of seasonal delights on offer. Hilton Brighton Metropole is offering festive packages throughout December, including Christmas and Boxing Day.

Guests can take a turn on the romantic Royal Pavilion Christmas ice rink, complete with a gourmet pop-up restaurant and pre-school crèche or head to the Theatre Royal to watch Alan Ayckbourn’s hilarious hit comedy, Season’s Greetings. Also showing is the fairytale musical, Cinderella, a family favourite.

Shopaholics will be more than satisfied searching for the perfect present at the Artists’ Open Houses Festival at Christmas. This bi-annual festival provides visitors with the opportunity to explore around 100 artists’ homes and studios with the chance to buy art, crafts and handmade jewellery directly from the artist. The 21st of December sees the annual Burning the Clocks event where the people of Brighton & Hove gather together to make paper and willow lanterns to carry through the city in celebration of the Winter Solstice.

Those brave enough can join the Brighton Swimming Club in the traditional Christmas Day dip in the sea, or take a stroll along Brighton pier to watch this seasonal spectacle from the sidelines. Hilton Brighton Metropole is pet-friendly so there’s no need to leave any furry family members at home. Located only moments from the seafront, the hotel is ideal for a wintery walk along the beach before returning to indulge in a delicious Christmas dinner.

The Hilton Brighton Metropole festive packages include:

Jazz Christmas Brunch
From the grandeur of the Windsor Restaurant diners can enjoy a Christmas brunch accompanied by the rhythmic sounds of live Jazz music.
