City Rocks To Beach Volleyball Beat!

Garnier Ambre Solaire is staging three action packed weekends of top level beach volleyball in July, at the Brighton beach volleyball court, between the piers. The UK?s leading men?s and women?s pairings will compete against each other to reach the Grand Final on Sunday 17th July.

The 2nd and 3rd July will see the UK?s 10 best men?s teams, including the British No 1?s Aaron Stolberg and Joe Mildred, competing for the top four places. With big jump serves and awesome spikes this event will be exhausting, even just to watch. Nerves will be high on July 9th & 10th when the top local teams get a go at the action. The winning two teams will go through as wildcard entries into the Grand Final. The national women?s event on Sat 16th July will offer spectators the chance to see exciting rallies and unbelievable dives, making it a day not to be missed. The event will climax on Sunday 17th with the best of the best fighting it out on the sand to compete for cash prize money and the Garnier Ambre Solaire Series Title.

The beach volleyball events will offer a great spectacle with music, entertainment and a fantastic summer vibe. The championships are part of a long term commitment by the City of Brighton & Hove to develop beach sports in the area. So get on down, and enjoy the party atmosphere; it?s a great day out for all the family!
