Concorde 2 proudly presents Battles + Catapult on Tuesday 15th July at 7.30pm.  Probably the most famous Math Rock band around, Battles come straight out of New York and mix original time signatures and a lineup composed of well-known musicians around the globe. Their 2007 album Mirrored has received critical acclaim and been viewed as one of the albums of the year so far in many places, including NME, and further reaffirms the point that US music is creating a wealth of talent so huge. Their massive sell out show at Concorde last year, and for many was the gig of 2007, as Battles live is an experience as much as a gig. Many say there is more invention here in one album than the whole of English music has produced in the four years between the last two Radiohead albums.
