Donate Your Clothes At The Barnardo?s Big Toddle

As sponsor of the Barnardo’s Big Toddle 2009, Fairy Non Bio Gel will be celebrating your little ones & helping to raise more money for the children’s charity with a donation basket at your local Toddle in Preston Park on 1st July. All you need to do is register for the Big Toddle, the UK’s biggest fundraising event for under 5s, for the celebrations to begin!  

First way to make a difference...

Fairy Non Bio Gel will be hosting a giant ‘Basket of Softness’* at the Brighton Toddle, for parents to donate unwanted clothing and old clothes such as maternity wear, outgrown children’s clothes or anything you think could sell! This will be taken away and sold in a local Barnardo’s Charity Shop in your area.  

Second way to make a difference - get Toddling!

Last year, half a million kids had great fun and raised vital funds for Barnardo’s by taking part in the Barnardo’s Big Toddle, a short sponsored walk for under 5s. Your Toddlers will love the excitement of the day, especially when they are awarded a medal and certificate at the finish line! Funds raised go to local Barnardo’s projects based throughout the UK, working with disadvantaged children under 5. It is all about children helping children.

Barnardo’s Background

Now in its thirteenth year, the Barnardo’s Big Toddle continues to be the biggest and best fundraising event for under 5s. Funds raised from the Big Toddle go towards supporting Barnardo’s vital work with vulnerable and disadvantaged under 5s throughout the UK. Fairy is dedicated to helping mums care for their little ones, that’s why New Fairy Non Bio Gel is supporting Barnardo’s Big Toddle 2009 and encouraging mums and their toddlers to get involved and join in the fun. 

Liz Cox, Director of Fundraising, Barnardo’s says:

“ The Barnardo’s Big Toddle raises vital funds for our work throughout the UK with children under 5 and their families. This can range from supporting families who live below the poverty line to working with children with physical and learning disabilities or behavioural problems as well as the mums and dads who need a helping hand to care for their children”

Ex- Corrie star and new mum Tina O’Brien is fronting New Fairy Non Bio Gel’s  ‘Celebrate Our Little Ones’ campaign, lending her support in a bid to raise further awareness of the Big Toddle 2009.  She says:

 “A great way to celebrate your little one is to get involved in the Barnardo’s Big Toddle. It’s a fun day out and you’ll be raising money for the work Barnardo’s does with vulnerable young children throughout the UK”
