Future Shorts Coming To Brighton
Published 8th Jun 2005 by Mike

"Future Shorts is bent on proving that the short film is not just for people with short attention spans but a genre unto itself ? a little something for every taste."

Future Shorts

Dedicated to providing the very best in short film entertainment, FUTURE SHORTS, Europe?s largest platform for short films is taking residence in Brighton from June. With films that vary from the dramatic to the traumatic, comedy, animation and documentaries, FUTURE SHORTS believes in finding the films that are original, inventive and above all entertaining.

Dispelling the conventional view of film shorts being ?over-experimental, student-like and dull?, FUTURE SHORTS acts as a filter finding the films that represent the very best of the medium. Showcasing films from renowned Directors such as Mike Leigh, Ken Loach and Lynne Ramset as well as exciting new Directors worldwide, FUTURE SHORTS passionately believes in introducing a wider audience to the world of short films.

With the belief that films should be watched in a fun and relaxed environment Future Shorts will be holding events at the Prince Albert on the 12th June and the Sussex Arts Club on the 29th June, the films start at 6.30pm running for two hours with live music acts following.
