Get 'googled Out!' At The Fringe
Published 21st Apr 2007 by David Weedall
Ever felt you may be spending too much time on the Net? Googled Out! is an intriguing piece of theatre that has actors playing avatars in cyberspace on a virtual 3D website promising to further enhance their online experiences. An habitual online-gamer, a cyber-sex addict, a pro-gambler, and a Second Life devotee are amongst those who meet on the site only to discover it's real purpose is to actually entice them away from their online addictions. The results are anything but predictable!
This is the show that has it all - well virtually! Yet beneath the intriguing plot, the play asks a salutary question – can one get so hooked on the Net that you loose your ‘inner-self’ to the Ethernet forever? There can only one way to find out – see this Fringe ‘must see’ absurd comedy from Brighton’s very own Second Impression Theatre Co.
