Get Muddy And Raise Money - Radox Great British Mud Run!

Get Muddy And Raise Money - Radox Great British Mud Run!
Published 19th Sep 2007 by Sam Whiteside

Get your hearts racing on the 27th October and join The Radox Great British Mud Runs raising funds for the British Heart Foundation (BHF) at Stanmer Park, Brighton.

Launched by Radox and the BHF in 2006, the 5K Great British Mud Runs encourage families to exercise together and help people feel better. Participants will not only be raising money to help the hearts of the nation, but will also get to exercise their own heart by participating.

The Radox Great British Mud Runs are set to be fun for everyone, ideal for families, social groups or for

those going solo. Those taking part can walk, jog or run -

as long as everyone has fun, gets muddy and raises as much sponsorship money as possible! All participants will be given a full sized bottle of Radox Herbal Bath at the end of the race so they can go home and relax in a bubble bath whilst washing off the mud!

Set in the great location of Stanmer Park, the run will be followed with some family fun so even if you don’t feel like participating, come down to soak up the great family atmosphere and support your friends and family. There are only 500 places available on the run so those wanting to take part are encouraged to join up as soon as possible!

The BHF is the nation’s heart charity, and relies on vital donations to help fund pioneering research that saves and improves the lives of vulnerable men, women and children who suffer from heart disease across the UK. Every two minutes someone has a heart attack and about 3 our of 10 of these people will die before they get to hospital. This is why the BHF spends £100 a minute every day on vital heart research.*

The Southern Radox Great British Mud Run is one of four taking place around the country and by joining in you can help to make your local event the biggest of them all.
