Get On 'yer Bike!

Get On 'yer Bike!
Published 20th Sep 2005 by Alex Hammond

'Get fit September' continues this week with another splendid bike ride. How on earth could we top the 'Pedal to the Pub' featured last week? Well, how about a tour of Brighton & Hove by bike!

Starting at Preston Park, the ride will head North into some of the countryside around Brighton, before cruising down the old Dyke Railway trail into Hove and back to the starting point. This will show you parts of the city you've probably never seen before, whilst engaging your cardiovascular system!

The organisers promise thrills, spills and moderate hills, along with some road riding. They promote safe cycling - you must wear a helmet and bring refreshments. The route totals 8 miles and, just like a nice alcopop, is aimed at people aged 14 and over.

25th Sept 2005. Meet at Preston Park, by bowling greens. (10.30am-2.30pm)
