Hat Club At Digital

Hat Club At Digital
By Nicola Freitas 4th Sep 2008

Grab your fascinator, fedora or fez, as on Saturday 27th September Hat-Club will open the doors of Digital in Brighton to a crowd of hat wearing hedonists.  Creating Hat-Club’s unique party vibe and exercising its filthy house music policy on the night is production/DJ duo, The BeatThiefs. Aka Henry Hacking and Tee Vegas, these boys are Hat-Club’s newest residents and are recognised across the industry for their remixes of tracks such as Switch ‘A Bit Patchy’ and CRW ‘I Feel Love’.

Brighton born James Fitch is next on the bill. He’s also one half of the upward-spiralling duo Prok & Fitch who at the moment can do no wrong: dance music’s heavyweight title Mixmag has tipped them as ones to ‘Keep An Eye On’ and Roger Sanchez has signed a handful of their tracks to his Stealth label.

Continuing to churn out the house beats are Hat-Club stalwarts, Vince Frimpong and Tim Priestly who know better than most how to satisfy Hat-Club’s distinguishable crowd.

The crowd have two things in common; a passion for filthy house music, and penchant for funky head gear and it’s these factors combined that gives this party an atmosphere like no other on the planet.

Also legendary to Brighton is Fat Boy Slim’s Big Beach party, which will take place on the pebble beach on this very day, so if you’re looking for somewhere to continue partying after the sun goes down, why not roll into Digital (also on the beach front) and party the night away with Hat-Club!

You know the rules – don’t talk about Hat-Club and don’t forget your hat! Ssshhh…
