Hat-club Returns To Digital
Published 10th Jan 2008 by Nicola Freitas
The Hat-Club crew return to the South Coast in spectacular form on the 26th January bringing with them Prok & Fitch, Nick Piper & Vince Frimpong. Hat-Club return to Brighton after six exciting months away and are ready to dust off their Trilbies and once again show Brighton how it’s done.
It’s all been a bit quiet in Brighton without them, they’ve been away completing a Middle Eastern Tour, held one of the biggest parties ever at The Cross and hosted a party with Gatecrasher for their infamous Boxing Day celebrations. Hat-Club is growing bigger by the day and look forward to returning to the ever growing family of Brighton party goers anxious for their long awaited return.
After a hugely successful residency spanning almost three years at Brighton’s Zap Club – Hat-Club are looking forward to returning to the newly named venue, Digital after its recent multi million pound refurbishment.
Headliners (and Hat-Club regulars) Prok & Fitch are hotly tipped as ‘one to watch’ for 2008 – garnering support from Radio One and Roger Sanchez – who has signed three of their tracks and booked them to play his party at the Miami Winter Music Conference. Prok & Fitch have been released on labels such as Stealth, Whore House (Hoxton Whores), SUME (Housesessions), Odyssey Music, Noir Music and are fast becoming one of the UK’s most talked about double acts.
Although Hat-Club has been gone from Brighton for six short months, it won’t have been forgotten, but just to recap: its first rule is don’t talk about Hat-Club, and its second is no hat, no entry! There’s a lot going on in 2008 with endless tour nights, and Hat-Club’s first ever festival appearance, so get your hat sorted!
