Inside Out Party
By Alberto 6th Aug 2008
Brighton’s been experiencing a bit of a slow down on the bar and club scene of late; nothing to do with the quality of the nights, just a certain lack of uniqueness. Until now - InsideOut presents a very special night at a venue which has never been opened in this way before. Al Duomo (opp Ha Ha) will play host to this event, transforming itself for the night, boasting 2 floors, a sun terrace, 3 sound systems and an all night licence.
Sounding good so far? Well the line up certainly won’t disappoint. La Terrazza will be open from 9pm with two sound systems, one on the sun terrace and another in the bar. Disco, Funk, Chicago and Deep House will be supplied by Go Bang! & Contraband DJ’s throughout the night until the early hours, plus Johnny Loves House (Zapatilla Productions) playing a live analogue set to really spice things up.
The Underground has an edgier feel with special guest DJ, Harold Heath (www.haroldheath.com / myspace.com/haroldheath) headlining. This local genius has had a string of releases on serious labels Urbantorque, Oblong, Sensei & Plastic City. Expect Deep and Tech House served up in style by a true connoisseur.
A more minimal theme will continue downstairs with an array of DJ’s dropping the finest in Underground House and Minimal to fuel the party.
The party runs from 9pm till 6am so prepare yourselves for the long haul! Not only this but entry is free all night, so there is simply no reason why you wouldn’t want to check this out.
