Inside Out is a name which has become synonymous with ‘back to basics’ underground clubbing in Brighton, since its conception in 2008. Regular patrons over the last 2 years will know the format well by now; top flight DJs, an intimate venue and a no nonsense, clued-up crowd.

Past bookings have included Nathan Coles, ‘Evil’ Eddie Richards, Rocky (X-Press 2) and Rui Da Silva, all of which have helped shape the Inside Out sound - deep, hypnotic and utterly absorbing Tech House.

This year the brand continues to gather pace as they kick their season off in style on Fri 7th May, with a massive name on the bill. Clive Henry (Peace Division/Circo Loco) is the first guest of the year and displays the thought put in by the promoters when booking their headliners. Clive has been a massive name on the scene for a number of years, residing at Circo Loco as well as releasing a barrage of top quality music as one half of Peace Division. Certainly not to be sniffed at. There’s no doubt that Clive will have the Inside Out punters wet with anticipation.

This year the Inside Out crew have packed their belongings and moved home to The Loft (Ship Street). The Loft, although relatively underused, has recently been host to some legendry nights, most notably Disco Deviant with the legend Greg Wilson. It’s a great space which suits the Inside Out vibe perfectly; it’s about the intimacy, atmosphere & sound quality. There will be extra sound and light added for the occasion, naturally.

Local lads Ben Clift & Sam Humber are also part of the line-up, in support of Clive and residents, Contraband DJs. Ben & Sam have a unique sound of cutting edge tribal & tech house and have the ability to warm up any dance floor, to perfection. These guys are ones to look out for this year and wouldn’t be on the bill if they weren’t top drawer.

Early bird tickets are now on sale, online, through Resident Advisor at the silly price of £5. Advance £6 tickets will also be available on RA and locally, in Brighton, at Resident and Rounder records. A limited amount of door tickets will be available on the night at £7. Good chance of a sell-out show, so advise to get it sorted in advance.
