Jerry Sadowitz was born in New Jersey USA (famous for another two magicians, David Blaine and David Copperfield) and raised in Glasgow after his parent's separation. He still claims to be a “nice, if f***ed up individual”, commenting "my act hopefully hangs out everyone's dirty laundry and we all end up happier for it." Did the poverty, the ulcerative colitis, the administering of enemas, the divorce, the mad mother, the scary school, the total lack of sex until he was in his twenties, the sh*t jobs, the sh*t flat, the comedy plagiarists who went on to achieve far more success than him, the lack of attention, and the advent of Thatcherism form the comedy he is known for today?
