Little Red ... You Know Who at Komedia
Published 28th Feb 2007 by Chris Challis

Taking a well-known traditional story (you know which!), this spell-binding play for young children follows a magical path through the woods. Freehand Theatre creates a memorable and reassuring journey with its delightful use of puppetry, colour and specially composed music. With wolves kept safely between the covers of books, get ready to listen to the song of the red box, watch a forest grow before your very eyes and find out how an endearing bear gets in on the action!

“Freehand Theatre's superb creations are a joy to see. They provide real and effective theatre” Times Educational Supplement.

Freehand Theatre was formed in 1981 and since then has been enchanting children and adults with its heady mix of original puppetry, good design, rich language, striking concepts, beautiful music and gentle humour. Written and directed by Lizzie Allen and designed and performed by Simon Hatfield, the original music for the production was composed by Hugh Nankivell, whose credits include work for Opera North, Faulty Optic Theatre and the Anglo-Japanese production, Whaletone.

LITTLE RED… YOU KNOW WHO! visits Komedia on Sunday 18 March at 2pm. Tickets are £6/£5 conc. from the Box Office on 01273 647100 (booking fees apply).
