Lotus Charity Event 2nd August

The Yokohama sponsored SELOC London to Brighton Charity Run will be held on Saturday 2nd August 2003.

Starting at Crystal Palace Park in London and finishing at the renowned Madeira Drive in Brighton. This event will provide a memorable day out for Lotus owners who enjoy driving their vehicles and give them the chance to be part of the largest display of Lotus cars ever seen in London.

SELOC are looking to raise in excess of ?10,000 from this event for the following good causes:

Great Ormond Street Hospital RNLI (Brighton Lifeboat)
Air Ambulance Foundation Alzheimer's disease Society
Cancer Research UK Cystic Fibrosis Trust
SCOPE (Cerebral Palsy Charity) Laurence-Moon-Bardet-Biedl Society
Little Havens Children's Hospice Jo Swindell Cancer Fund

For vehicles taking part sponsorship forms will be available to allow drivers to help raise funds for the SELOC London to Brighton Charity Fund.

On- line Auction

An on-line auction is running at www.seloc.org and we are still looking for any donations of items that we can auction, if you can help please email press@seloc.org

The Route

The route has been designed to allow drivers and passengers to enjoy their journey from London to Brighton. Drivers will be provided with written route book on the day and run stickers will be included.

The start is Crystal Palace Park, London. Cars can arrive between 8am and 10am with the first vehicles leaving at 10:30am.

The finish is Madeira Dive, Brighton. The first vehicles expected to arrive in Brighton from midday onwards the participating cars will make a spectacular display as they park on the seafront road of Madeira drive.
