Maddie Live ?talking Up The Fringe?
Published 9th Apr 2007 by Belle Rowe
For the first time ever, the Brighton Festival Fringe brings you a hot new talk show. Come and meet the stars of this year’s Festival as they tell all and perform like never before. Maddie Live, the monthly variety talk show, five-star rated in Latest 7, comes to the Fringe weekly. The first show of its kind, each week Maddie Live will capture the highlights this Fringe has to offer.
The stars of the Fringe come to The Hanbury Club for one-off special performances, giving you a taste of what’s in store in this year’s Festival. Maddie,
your irrepressible host, gets up close and personal with celebrities of the Fringe including Phil Grabsky, Carol Cleveland (Monty Python), Taylor Mac, Kitsch Kittens, Michele D’Acosta, Django Spears, Eklektika, Friday Night Hero, Fake Bush, The Poetry Brothel, Mike Hatchard, Boutique, Mayday Players, Ian Seville, Damien Barr, Flamenco Con Fusion, Richard Harris, and Ralph Brown (Withnail and I), to name a few.
From circus acts to bands, from filmmakers to MC rappers, Maddie Live has it all. Set in the new and decadent rooms of The Hanbury Club, it’s exactly what the Fringe has been waiting for. Filmed in front of a live audience, Maddie Live has a fresh new vibe that keeps you buzzing for days and wanting more. ‘A must-see show of all round entertainment with a Brighton edge’
