Margot?s Parties Are Back To Turn Hanbury Club Into The Moulin Rouge

Margot’s Parties purveyor of kitsch n camp costumed capers is re-launching its events at the recently polished jewel in Kemp Town’s crown, the Hanbury Club. Kicking off with a Moulin Rouge theme on Saturday 12 April, revellers will be encouraged to dress as corseted courtesans, Can-can girls, tuxedoed toffs or Toulouse Lautrec.

The night will offer award winning cocktails, a colourful crowd, tableaux vivants and an eclectic mix of music described as perfect pop, dirty disco and classic cheese.

Margot’s Parties has been running off-beat events in Brighton for almost a decade and is proficient at providing decadent DJ led entertainment with a tongue in cheek twist. Other themes have included: all gold; medical mayhem; departure lounge; desperate housewives, and a miner’s welfare – complete with curler clad hostess and meat raffle.

Margot says: “We’re really happy to be back at the Hanbury Club, it’s always been our favourite haunt and since its stylish make-over is the ultimate party pad. Moulin Rouge is a fitting theme to tempt the Lady Marmalades back to Kemp Town!”
