Marie Curie Wig Walk
Published 14th Oct 2005 by Admin
Losing your hair through chemotherapy can be devastating ? but now, wearing a wig can be a positive way to support people with cancer.
The first Marie Curie Cancer Care Wig Walk, takes place on October 16, 2005 in Southampton and Brighton as part of the national series of Devoted to Life Walks happening throughout the country.
These short (approximately 5 km) walks are a wonderful way to spend a Sunday and work up an appetite!
Choose from two venues, Preston Park in Brighton or Southampton Manor Farm Country Park, then don a wig, the wackier the better, and join in the parade of weird and wonderful hair-dos to raise that bit more for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
