Mint

Mint
Published 8th Feb 2006 by Brightonlife Raciones Dept

Mint is a stylish restaurant and music bar tucked away on Meeting House Lane. The concept is a simple and noble one: to combine the pleasures of good food, good drink and good music in a stylish but relaxed environment.

At Mint you can sit down to delicious Mediterranean food late into the evening while being treated to poetry, theatre and live music courtesy of a a rather dapper resident swing band. The menu includes many traditional dishes from around the med, but is probably most notable for a large range of South Mediterranean Raciones (similar to Tapas and great to share).

Beer lovers have a good selection to choose from, including Leffe and Staropramen on tap, while the selection of wines should cater for all sophisticated tastes.

If you check out Mint during the day, you'll find a respite from the hectic surrounding lanes; a perfect stop off for a sandwich or some raciones while watching folk go by. By night, the surrounding lanes are deserted and Mint feels like a bohemian enclave perfect to lose yourself on for a night.
