Mint Restaurant and Music Bar launches new drinks menu to complement their Mediterranean food menu.

Mint restaurant and music bar in the Brighton Lanes has been successfully serving up its unique combination of Mediterranean Raciones food, cabaret, live music, and a suitably refreshing drinks menu in a quirky Art Nouveau setting for just over 9 months now.

The venue was born out of owners? Amanda Jones and Clare Bradley struggle to find an appropriate haunt that suited all their social requirements for good food, drink and entertainment in pleasant surroundings under one roof.

When they launched Mint restaurant and music bar in January this year they had certain aims and objectives that they wished to achieve. These included establishing a weekly line-up of interesting entertainment and developing a drinks menu that suited the food menu, the surroundings and their company ethos.

Amanda states how: ?It has been a really exciting year for us here at Mint. We, and all our staff, suppliers and the artists we work with have been working really hard to create the venue that we originally envisioned. Now, with our exciting line-up of music, cabaret and theatre events as well as a stimulating food and drinks we really feel like we?re on the way to achieving what we set out to do. And judging from the response we?ve had we think our customers are happy with our achievements too.?

After several months of research, sampling and trial and error the new drinks menu is now ready. The items on the new menu have been carefully selected based on taste, origin and suitability to the food available. Where possible they are organic and Amanda and Clare have also sourced wines from regions in the Mediterranean that will naturally complement the Mediterranean style food dishes. They are also supporting European wines to help reduce overseas imports that expend more on fuel and world trade.

We hope you will enjoy Mint?s house creations such as Fig Fancy that uses ingredients from our menu to allow you to taste the historic goodness in age old Andalucian recipes such as the Fig and Almond Wheel in liquid form!
