Two talented and distinct female artists from the USA are visiting Komedia this May as part of the venues Festival Programme. Expect hot Jazzy violin, delicious western and gypsy swing and hoedowns from the ELANA JAMES TRIO on MONDAY 8 MAY and gutsy and uplifting Americana from GINA VILLALOBOS on TUESDAY 9 MAY.

0riginal tunes in a vintage style, the front woman of the now defunct Hot Club of Cowtown?s new group offers vivacious fiddle music for the 21st Century that is guaranteed to get your toes tapping. Violinist and singer Elana James is an internationally acclaimed performer who has been featured at countless major concerts and music festivals worldwide. Most recently Elana has teamed up with Bob Dylan as part of his touring band, the first female instrumentalist to do so in thirty years and is one of the youngest members ever to be inducted into the Texas Western Swing Hall of Fame.
