Published 21st Apr 2009 by Brighton Festival Fringe
The Fringe is alive with the sound of music this May and with hundreds of music events, there's plenty on offer. But with events selling fast (some have already sold out), get your skates on and make sure you don't miss out this May!
STOP PRESS: We have just received a further allocation of tickets for The Levellers at the Parlure Spiegeltent, but they're selling like hot pies - buy tickets now!
Here's some of the music events that have caught our eye...

Craig Charles needs no introduction... star of Red Dwarf, Coronation Street and Robot Wars, and host of the Funk and Soul show on BBC Radio 6 Music. There is no better DJ and there will be no better night for fans of seriously funky music. So dance the night away in the Spiegeltent to pure gold funk and soul in the capable hands of Craig Charles

St. George's Church The multi-award-winning Brighton Beach Boys and Psychedelic Love Orchestra (including the legendary Ralph Brown) return to the Fringe to perform live two of the greatest pop albums ever recorded. This is a spectacular, joyously entertaining and authentically groovy 15-piece band celebration of the most beautiful sounds from the pop heart of the Love Generation brought direct to your ears.
