New Jobs Board Set To Create Employment Opportunities For Brighton Residents
Published 8th Sep 2010 by Nicola Freitas
After months of planning, a brand new jobs board, www.BrightonandHoveJobs.com is set to go live early September 2010 securing its position as the only jobs board in the country to exclusively support and promote the city where it is based.
Created by an expert team of local, well-networked recruiters, BrightonandHoveJobs.com aims to become the number one resource for employers and job hunters in the region whilst, at the same time, offering huge benefit to its much deserving city.
BrightonandHoveJobs.com aims to create job opportunities for all; to increase local employment activity; to increase higher value jobs through a city initiative that creates better paid jobs; to make local recruiting affordable and to, ultimately, become the city’s premier job board.
The board will offer an all encompassing approach to employment solutions, training, development and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and, what’s more, will focus squarely on the Brighton and Hove and the commutable areas to ensure an unbeatable local service both for businesses and hungry job-seekers.
Key Features include:
• A purely Brighton based team, dedicated solely to the city of Brighton & Hove
• A national and international candidate reach
• Jobs from all sectors advertised (i.e. administration, finance, technical, sales etc)
• Full time, part time and contract opportunities advertised
• CV database of local talents looking for new opportunities
• Proactively working to reduce employers’ recruitment spend
• Proactive voice at business and council level for local employment and recruitment related topics
• Training and development services for everyone (employed or unemployed)
• CSR opportunities across the city
• Free CV filtering service (coming soon)
The jobs board launches with five founding partners – American Express, Domestic & General, Brighton & Hove City Council, Legal & General and Brighton & Hove Albion. With one more heavy-weight founder soon be announced; the idea of the scheme is to ensure fluid relationships with the best and largest employers in the city.
