New Lgbt Boutique Hotel

New Lgbt Boutique Hotel
Published 18th Feb 2004 by Cat

Due to open its doors April 2004, The Elysian Hotel, Brighton will be unique, the latest in stylish ?boutique? hotels, and will cater for an entirely LGBT clientele.

Ideally situated, in Kemp Town; the heart of gay Brighton, The Elysian is a two minute walk from the town centre and LGBT bars, clubs and shopping. Situated on a regency square, overlooking the sea, the building was previously Brighton?s longest established gay hotel, and is currently undergoing a divine redesign and refurbishment.

Elysian will offer an eclectic urban living experience. Eight individually designed niche spaces, ranging from, stylish, contemporary design to natural, organic rooms, featuring furniture hand crafted from wood reclaimed from Brighton?s piers and sea defences, to the two cool New York loft style suites. All rooms are comfortable in the extreme and have en suite bathrooms (double baths, ideal for two) or stylish wet rooms and feature original art works, and ambient lighting features.

If you fancy a night in, the Pink Pamper will offer a visiting service for massages, facials etc. and each room has a DVD player so you can supply your own soundtrack. The Elysian will offer the use of Playstation2 and the facility to hire DVD?s or Playstation games.

The bar and breakfast room will be fusion of contemporary design elements and organic materials, and leads onto an outside seating area and a private, secluded garden for guests to relax, brunch, sunbathe?

Rooms are competitively priced (with special discount rates for midweek stays) and include a luxury continental breakfast and on weekends, a complimentary champagne brunch.

There is definitely a gap in the market. Brighton has an abundance of gay B&B?s and small hotels, but as yet there has been nowhere truly special and upmarket for the discerning visitor; for an anniversary, valentines or just for a business trip.

?We hope to set ourselves apart, by offering truly exceptional individual service in a really relaxed and welcoming environment and friendly staff with a good knowledge of local LGBT venues, nightlife, and decent restaurants,???.?

The Elysian Hotel will be taking advance bookings from February 2004.
