Newsflash: Snow Forecast For Brighton On 3rd September!

Newsflash: Snow Forecast For Brighton On 3rd September!
Published 1st Sep 2005 by PR

Expect the unexpected when Uri, the character from the Smirnoff Ice? ads sends his team of homies to Brighton on 3rd September. The team has a mission to bring Uri?s snowy garden to Brighton Beach this summer. Hats and gloves are the order of the day as Uri invites you to take part in a snowball fight! Not exactly what you?d expect on a September day.

Uri?s homies have the job of setting the stage for Brighton beach lovers to pit their wits against each other in this ultimate summer snow challenge.

Before the fun commences, limber up and hone your throwing skills in the practice alley where you could even get a prize from the makers of Smirnoff Ice if your ball hits the mark. Check out Uri?s car sled, brought to the UK on temporary loan from Uri, along with some of his favourite huskies who will be chilling out in the snowshine! Then the Smirnoff Ice team will make sure you?ve got the essential tools for the snow challenge; snowgoggles, hats and of course the all important ingredient ? lots of snow! Hit the local bars afterwards to enjoy Smirnoff Ice served as it should be ? Ice cold!

Uri?s snowball fight will take place at the Volleyball Court on the Lower Promenade of Brighton Beach, near the Gemini Bar from 8pm ? 10.30pm on Saturday 3rd September, adding an unusual twist to Brighton nightlife. Word will spread on the snowball fight through text, email and snowflyers to get people ready for action before the snow hits town!

Uri?s snow garden has appeared throughout the country this summer at major cities and festivals.

Please note this event takes place in the evening and is for adults of legal purchase age and above only.
