The Paramount Comedy Festival is back!.  Launched in 2002 it has established itself as Britain’s premier event solely devoted to comedy. The Festival prides itself on annually presenting a remarkable line up of the UK and Ireland’s finest comedy talent, as well as programming imports from Canada, the USA, Australia and beyond.

The Nitty  Gritty

• The Festival runs for 18 days in October,
• All events take place at The Brighton Dome, across three venues – the Concert Hall (1700 seats), the Corn Exchange (570 or 320 seats) and the Pavilion Theatre (217 seats).
• The programme includes stand-up, theatre, sketch, improvisation, line-up shows and children’s performances.
• The Festival sells over 30,000 tickets each year.
• The majority of audiences are from Brighton & Hove and the greater East
  Sussex area.
