Pete Burns @ The Ocean Rooms This Saturday

Pete Burns @ The Ocean Rooms This Saturday
Published 3rd Feb 2006 by Ocean Rooms

Eighties icon and recent celebrity big Brother star, Pete Burns will be attending the The Ocean Rooms this Saturday (4th feb). The outspoken star, who is as notorious for his out spoken comments as he is for his cross-dressing, will be a VIP guest at the club this Saturday night.

Burns will be at 'Pimpbitchdisko' for a big night out, and anyone who heads down to Morley Street might be able to catch him on the mic for an impromptu PA. The 45-year old shot to fame in 1985, when his band Dead or Alive topped the charts with the electronic anthem, You Spin Me Round (Like a Record).

Known for his blatant sexuality and flamboyant style, Burns is known for shocking the public with his feminine dress, exotic hairstyles and heavy make-up. After avoiding the limelight for two decades, Burns re-emerged earlier this year when he revealed all on Channel 4's reality television show, Celebrity Big Brother.

His time in the big brother house will be best remembered for his coat that he claimed to be made from gorilla skin. Police then removed it for testing.

Since his 2004 divorce, Pete has been with his boyfriend and long-term Ocean Rooms friend, Michael, and the couple will be causing a riot in the club on Saturday night.
