The thought of a five hour set would give most 'superstar' DJs the willies. Suggest it to Laurent Garnier, on the other hand, and the response is likely to be more along the lines of: 'what, only five 'ours? Zis is nussing to me!'

One of the all-time great DJs and dance music producers, Laurent Garnier is on his way to Brighton for the first time in the living (albeit slighty patchy) memory of Brighton's clubbers. Stompa Phunk have achieved a larger coup than the Thai military by bringing the king of French techno to Audio for a Friday night session.

How often do you get to see one of the world's top DJs in a club as cosy as Audio? Not very often at all! This is the man responsible for many people's greatest techno track of all time - 'The Man With The Red Face' - and the awesome, ambient Cloud Making Machine.

As is usual for Audio, there are no tickets, so get there early and have £15 ready for the lovely behind the till.
