Last outing in 2005 for Rawkuss - Brighton's only punk rock night at The Engine Rooms - Brighton's only rock venue.

There may be plenty of alternative nights in Brighton with punk on the flyer more often than not it'll end up being indie, new wave, chart, electro or metal you'll hear all night.These days punk is so imbedded in mainstream culture, with Clash T-shirts sold in high street stores, but the actual music doesn't get a look in. Rawkuss isn't about being exclusive but it is about playing music with a punk rock attitude whether that be British rock n roll (think Wildhearts, Therapy, Snuff), 70s and 80s (Ramones, Clash, the list goes on), ska (Capdown), American (NOFX, Rancid) and the unclassifiable (Mclusky, Pixies).
With three DJs they'll be some rock tunes and even some stoner (Kyuss anyone) but most importantly you can chose whatever song you want and the DJs will do their very best to play it!
