Seminal Manchester live music night, DIY label and genre hopping noise collective aKouStiK AnaRKhY roll into Brighton on Saturday 7th August for Seaside Anarkhy ? a night of live music and high jinx at The Lift, 11 Queen Street. Infamous in their home city, aA pride themselves in emitting the pleasing sounds of the cities underground in a party atmosphere and the good news for Brighton is they?re bringing some of the best acts around with them. Sam & Me, Jack Cooper, Loose Canon and Autokat all roll in to town on the aA fun bus to provide the entertainment and take in some fresh seaside air.

Local boys Sam & Me have been winning plaudits the country over with their refreshing harmony laden lullabies of choral pop. Magic will certainly be in the air as the now London based duo invite you to join them in their world of singing birds, rolling hills and hazy sunny afternoons.

Armed with a box load of their brand new limited 7? to promote, Loose Canon thunder into town a band firing on all cylinders. The double aA side ?What Comes Next?/Take These Eyes? will be available for the first time on the night. aA Royalty and twisted dirty pop at it?s very best.

The seaside is no stranger to Blackpool?s Jack Cooper, he likes it so much that after he?s played his support slot to Badly Drawn Boy at the Royal Festival Hall in London he?s winging himself over to Brighton so he can play Seaside Anarkhy on the very same night! Jack?s brand of (north) west coast songs are a real treat, especially if you consider the lengths he?s going to go to bring it you. Buy his new single, ?Turn The Light Off? ? we will be.

One of the most special bands in Manchester at the moment, Autokat come to the beach with the promise of a typical musical journey of psychedelic pop enlightenment. There?s a record coming out on aA Recordings very soon, so look out for that, but for now come and join us down the front for a groove and guidance.

aA DJ?s will be spinning tunes between bands and Records available to purchase on the night. Doors open from 8pm, it?s a mere ?4 in and the night will go on til 2am - when we then retire to the pebbles and the party continues?.
