Slackers Convention @ The Pressure Point Friday 28th March 2003

Slackers Convention @ The Pressure Point Friday 28th March 2003
Published 11th Mar 2003 by Jamie

Hello peoples

SLACK#7 28th feb..........Not naming names but two of the residents forgot to turn up with records!!!!! ???????? Now thats style. RICHARD and DIETRICH got the party moving. Liquid Laugh put on an awesome live show. The 5 piece Breakno Band played 50 minutes of the phattest beats to an rammed to capacity PRESSURE POINT. Apparently more beer had to be drafted in from the lower echelons of the club to a thirsty and demanding crowd. WATSON and JEZMOND bought along a Cat and tried to swing it around, but the boys failed miserably. The Headliners, KLONE FILTA, left the impression that if they werent going to be signed by a major Breaks player then we should all give up now and tune straight into Southern FM for sugary pop of the lowest order. The two took control of the crowd and led them on an original Breakbeat and Drum and Bass journey of the best calibre. MC Sonny backed the whole nite up with his unique Lyrical shenanigans, not letting the crowd go for one moment. RICHARD SCOTT and DJ SPACE Drummed and Bassed us out to shouts of "ENCORE", and "...HEY LET GO OF THAT CAT OR I'LL CALL THE RSPCA".

....so after all that business the crew will attempt another Residents night on the 28th of March....The Line up is as follows

DIETRICH

JAS

WATSON

RICHARD SCOTT

DJ SPACE
