Solutions Ins Store & Rockinghorse Charity Join Forces

CHILDREN IN SUSSEX HOSPITALS NOT FORGOTTEN THIS CHRISTMAS WITH BUSINESS & CHARITY PARTNERSHIP

Solutions inc, the region’s leading Apple Mac retailer, has joined forces with local charity Rockinghorse to help raise funds to make life better for children in hospital this Christmas. The collaboration will see £5 from the sale of every iPod from Solutions inc stores in Brighton & Hove go directly to Rockinghorse in a promotion that runs until Sunday 20th December 2009.

John Parvin, founder of Solutions inc said: “With iPods being such popular gifts, I felt that making this donation was an important move. At Christmas time everyone gets caught up in their own festivities, yet it is vital to highlight that sick children and their families can have an awful and isolating time. Rockinghorse was our first choice to support as they have made such a difference to the lives of so many in the Sussex area. We want to support the local community and encourage people to shop locally as well – Christmas is the perfect time to get people to embrace this.”

Rockinghorse is a charity working hard to improve the standard of health facilities for children throughout Sussex. Their work helps to support projects such as the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital and The Trevor Mann Baby Unit in Brighton. Chief Executive Gavin Fisher said: “Christmas can be a very lonely time for parents with sick children, so we are thrilled that Solutions inc wanted to help us at this crucial time and support families in hospitals. ”

The Solutions inc Brighton store opened in November 2006, and is part of a group of five stores all independently owned including Hove, Brighton, Guildford, Chichester and Bournemouth. Their aim of providing exceptional customer service along with their green and ethical standards sets them apart from their counterparts.
