Spitfire And Movember Need You!
Published 21st Nov 2011 by Jessica Lambert

Spitfire launches NEW limited edition Movember bottle and invites gents to grow their
mo according to the Queen’s Guidelines

Spitfire Premium Kentish Ale is combining forces with men’s health charity Movember and calling upon upstanding chaps to become a Mo Bro by growing a moustache. To encourage aspiring bros, Spitfire has released a NEW limited edition Movember bottle, complete with its own mini‐mo.
Spitfire is asking gents from every corner of Blighty to support Movember by giving their upper‐lip a month’s respite from the savage daily shear. What’s more, as an official licensed partner of the RAF, Spitfire is asking chaps to grow their mo in the proper fashion by keeping to the Queen’s RAF guidelines.

They stipulate: “The moustache is not to extend below the edge of the mouth”.

Spitfire’s limited edition “Mo Bro” bottle features its own RAF approved moustache. Available nationally throughout November, bros and their encouraging ladies can raise awareness for the Movember cause by buying a bottle of Spitfire or ordering a pint of the brew from their local.

Spitfire pilot and RAF Chief Examiner Charlie Brown will be on hand throughout the month of November to assist mo‐growers to channel their inner pilot. Charlie Brown will provide regular styling tips via the Spitfire Facebook site, detailing how to keep within the official guidelines whilst maintaining a first class shrub. Those visiting the Facebook page will also have the opportunity to enter weekly competitions to compete for the best mo, with prizes including iPods and an iPad 2 engraved with the Spitfire logo and their very own moustache.

Gents seeking the personal touch can head to a selection of participating Spitfire‐friendly barbers and gentlemen’s groomers offering chaps a complimentary bottle of Spitfire when they select a RAF approved mo treatment. Raising a ripping £106 million to date, Movember is a
global charity that encourages chaps to grow a moustache throughout the month of November to raise awareness for men’s health issues, particularly Prostate Cancer. Conceived in 1999 by a jolly group of lads in the colonies (Australia), the annual event has since spread
across the globe with thousands of spiffing fellows annually growing a mo for the cause.

So be a good old chap (or chap‐ette) and show some support for the gentleman’s charity
of choice, Spitfire and Movember need YOU.
