Stephen Grant Finally Gets Arrested!

Stephen Grant Finally Gets Arrested!
Published 13th Feb 2007 by Stephen Grant

On the 28th February 2007 I will be arrested by Sussex Police and locked away in the cells beneath Brighton Town Hall. Stop dancing and singing, there's a point to this.

I am being arrested alongside a group of Brighton celebs, media personalities and even politicians. But guess what? It's all for charidee. NCH in fact - the childrens charity - and that's where you come in:

Please pledge your wedge towards my "bail" target. Now, deep down inside, we all think it would be hilarious to not stump up any money so as to keep me locked up. But not only this form of humour quite obvious, it results in the little kiddies not getting as much money. Which is frankly harsh. So not pledging money will make people think you have a problem with children. That's where the rumours can start.

The other people being 'locked up' include local business people who are frankly a bit anonymous but do have minted friends who use these pages as some sort of attempt to prove who has the most disposable cash. Naturally we can't compete with them, but I can at least show that the sort of people I know are a giving and generous bunch; even if they're still the sort of people who bother to pick up 5p pieces if they drop them.

Furthermore, if I get OVER my bail limit, I'll do my damnest to hypnotise the woman from Lewes District Council into giving us Falmer. That's a joke by the way. I'll just stalk her for a bit.

Please dig deep and sponsor me online - now!! And. if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. That's right, the government coughs up as well. Hoorah.

Many thanks for your support,

Stephen.
