Strawberry Xmas Cracker At Komedia

Strawberry Xmas Cracker At Komedia
Published 16th Nov 2006 by Chris Challis

Get your Christmas off to a great start and jump on board a sleigh ride of fun in Strawberry the Clown's hilarious Yuletide bonanza. Forget scary make-up and squirty flowers, this is clowning with a contemporary edge, where elements of mime, physical comedy and vaudeville are fused with the traditions of the great silent clowns.

Strawberry the Clown (Fraser Hooper) gives a mesmerising performance holding you spellbound with laughter. He charms his audience without saying a word, gently encouraging his willing volunteers to become heroes in his hilarious show. He holds a delicate balance, keeping his volunteers feeling safe and happy while they perform the most ridiculous routines. Stunts include human levitation, fishing rod tennis, the giant leap of death and the uni-cycling waiter. Each performance is unique; he creates spontaneous comedy in an atmosphere of joyful hilarity where anything can happen.

"Consummate clowning." The Guardian

Come and watch Strawberry as he attempts the impossible, achieves the improbable and makes himself incapable. This is a show for everyone, full of laughter and mayhem. His award winning and refreshingly individual style has entertained audiences of all ages receiving rave reviews wherever he plays. He has been a huge hit at theatres and festivals across the UK and regularly guests on children's television.

STRAWBERRY?S XMAS CRACKER visits Komedia on Sunday 3 December at 11am & 2pm. Tickets are ?6/?5 conc.
